(A/N: May be sad and angsty, don't read if that's not your thing.)
It was around midnight, Zoro figured, by the time Chopper stepped outside the girls' room, holding his small bag of medical supplies and a stethoscope draped over his shoulders. Without a word between the two, Chopper looked up at the swordsman and gave a weak smile, waving a hoof before stepping away from the door, leaving it open so Zoro could enter the room.
The lights were dim, sombre almost. As Zoro walked inside and closed the door quietly behind him, he walked up to (name)'s bed, where she lied, hooked up to the new IV machine and oxygen tank the crew bought her with the last of their treasure on the island they left a few days ago.
Nami and Robin sat on their beds, looking down on (name) with saddened expressions. (Name) gave them each a weak smile and struggled to move her head up when she noticed she had another visitor.
“Hey, grumpy pants,” she said, her voice raspy and no longer the smooth, beautiful voice Zoro remembered.
“Hey, sunshine,” Zoro replied, moving across the room silently (after removing his boots) and he sat down on the edge of (Name)'s bed. The swordsman took her hand into his own and gently lifted it up to kiss it.
“Didn't know you could be so romantic,” (Name) commented, which was followed by a series of coughs. Zoro did his best not to frown.
“Don't push yourself,” he said. “You need your rest, it's late.”
The two other girls had already climbed into their beds, both turned away from the couple on either side of them, as they were used to Zoro joining (Name) in the girls' room at night ever since she had fallen ill. (Name) nodded, and scooted over a little bit, so that Zoro could join her in her bed.
Once he was comfortable, he made sure (Name's) IV was still okay, and he pulled the comforter over the two of them, took (Name) up in his arms, and fell asleep, holding her gently.
In the morning, Zoro felt oddly groggy. Usually, when he woke next to (name), he felt more refreshed than he did waking up in the boys' room by himself.
Yawning, he stretched out his legs and turned his head towards (name) who was unmoving. Deciding to keep a few extra moments next to her and wait for her to wake up in his arms, Zoro placed his head back down on the pillow and took in (Name)'s scent.
Although her natural scent of the ocean and a hint of vanilla was gone and replaced by the smell of rubbing alcohol and whatever medicine Chopper had started developing for her, he still loved pressing his forehead to her neck. It fit perfectly, like both their bodies in general.
She was so huggable, even though she was a tiny thing. Now, if he were to hug her like he had in the past, he would likely snap her like a twig.
After thinking about her for a while, he lifted his head back up and looked over at (Name), who still appeared to be sleeping. “Hey, (Name), it's time to get up.” He whispered, giving the shell of her ear a chaste kiss.
Nothing.
Looking around him, he noticed that Nami and Robin's beds were empty. They had probably gone to the kitchen to wait for Sanji to finish making breakfast.
“(Name), sunshine. If you don't wake up, I won't be able to take you upstairs for breakfast,” he said, this time a little louder, adjusting himself and giving (Name) a little shake.
Nothing.
“(Name), stop playing around. If you're playing a joke on me, I'm going to ignore you for the rest of the day.” Zoro said firmly, giving (Name) another gentle shake. Once more, (Name) did not move.
Worried now, he moved and pressed his ear to (Name)'s chest, to check for a heartbeat or the sound of her gentle breathing. Silent.
Sitting up in the bed, he began to shake (Name), this time a little bit more violently.
“(NAME)!” He shouted, keeping his eyes on her small form, how she flopped around like a ragdoll.
Seconds later, Chopper came running into the room. “Hey, Zoro, you shouldn't yell like that!” The reindeer exclaimed, running over to the side of the bed. Zoro fell silent as Chopper took (Name)'s pulse, and watched as the rest of the Straw Hats appeared in the doorway.
There were a few minutes of silence of the entire crew looking toward one another, then looking at (Name). The first one to speak was Chopper, even if tears had started pouring from his eyes. The words he spoke as he turned around caused more pain to Zoro than anyone else on the ship.
“She's dead.”

Zoro x reader - Feelings
Ever since she'd joined, Zoro had been in love with her.
(Name)
The way she always smiled, no matter what.
The way she laughed at Brook's jokes despite them not being funny, the way she complimented Sanji's cooking, the way she hugged Chopper when she was scared, the way she admired Franky's inventions.
Each little detail made him more and more in love with her.
He found himself thinking about her more than he did most other things, more than Sake, or training, or how much he hated Sanji.
But Zoro found himself at a loss for words when he tried to tell her.
He'd tried, on multiple occasions. But she always ended up being dragged away b

Numb ~Smoker x Reader~ (One Shot)
Smoker sighed as he leaned against the cold wall. He was basically recalling every moment he had with [Name]. Each memory that flowed within his mind caused him to get numb. He couldn't believe how much he missed her and how much he wish he could hold onto her small frame.
His golden eyes glance at the side where fellow marines were groaning and moaning in pain and sadness. Every individual was seen either mad or sad that was reflected by their clothes and their facial expressions. He mentally hated this atmosphere and completely disagree with majority of the people there. He was the one who was suffering, not these stupid people who
